My Fave Brooks Shoe

I really like the Ghost Max 3. I need extra cushioning, and these fit this requirement perfectly. It has the cushioning and support I really need. I use them for my everyday walking around. I do not use these for my power walks. But I could.

A Win For Metatarsalgia And Supination Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 68 and no longer run but try to get 8000 to 10009 steps in per day. I wear orthotics that have helped with some issues but I had a nagging metatarsalgia of my right foot. It was recommended that I wear a lower drop shoe with more cushion. I got these shoes just a few weeks ago and my metatarsalgia is greatly improved and I love the support the shoe provides as I have also had issues with supination as well.

Too Wide

Shoe is comfortable just too wide on the toe area. I had to tighten my laces really tight.

Great Shoes For Pttd

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these shoes!!! I have PTTD & finding shoes I can wear is most difficult! The Ghost 15 & 16 have always been my favorites. This Ghost Max may be taking their place! I have tried numerous brands, and none compare with the comfort I receive from the Brooks Ghost line of shoes!

Dislike The Round Toe

Not a fan of the round toe. I had a pair of Ghost Max 2 and loved them. As the sole was wearing too much I needed a new sneaker. I went for the Max 3. I love the thick insole but the round toe is far too wide and looks huge on my feet. The room at my toes is far too big and my toes move too much. I will be returning these and have already ordered a shoe like the Ghost Max 2.
