Product Information: Pro Tips

Achieve distance-enhancing launch with the Rogue Sub Zero Fairway. 5g of front sole weight positions the CG low/forward for low spin and long distance. Jailbreak Technology utilizes titanium bars to stiffen the body, while a Hyper Speed Face Cup optimizes energy transfer and forgiveness. A Triaxial Carbon Crown pairs with the Boeing Aero Package to enhance weighting and aerodynamics. An Internal Standing Wave shifts the CG low/forward to promote high launch with low spin.

It’s Time To Go Rogue: Selecting Your Model

  • Callaway Rogue Fairway Wood: Fixed 5g weight in the back of the head promotes higher launch and increased MOI for greater forgiveness and playability
  • Callaway Rogue Sub Zero Fairway Wood: Fixed 5g weight in the front of the head helps position the CG low and forward to lower spin for longer distance

Exceptional Ball Speed from the Jailbreak Effect

  • Callaway’s R&D Team successfully installed the groundbreaking Jailbreak technology in a fairway wood for the first time
  • New, hourglass-shaped Jailbreak titanium bars behind the face are 25% lighter than previous model
  • Jailbreak Technology stiffens the crown and sole at impact to create more ball speed across more face area
  • Stiffer body combines with Hyper Speed Face Cup to promote improved performance across an expansive area of the face
  • Jailbreak and Hyper Speed Face Cup work together to create the Jailbreak Effect, which promotes a remarkable boost in ball speed and distance

FEATURES:

  • Callaway’s two most effective speed-enhancing technologies combine to make their most powerful fairway ever
  • 5g weight in the sole’s front helps position the CG low and forward to lower spin for even longer distance
  • Ultra-thin, Carpenter 455 steel face with Hyper Speed Face Cup for more speed on impacts across the face
  • Internal Standing Wave Technology positions CG low and forward to promote high launch and low spin
  • Triaxial Carbon Composite Crown redistributes weight to the perimeter for increased MOI and forgiveness
  • Boeing and Callaway partnered to improve Speed Step by redefining leading edge geometry for next-gen aerodynamics

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW this is a game changer I usually don't write reviews, because everyone's game is different, but I felt compelled this time. I've had several 3wd's in the bag over the years and always end up going back to the same one because it just felt right. Not anymore, this club is a game changer. Long off the tee and off the deck. You don't have to swing out of your shoes to get the distance, the club has an enormous amount of pop and forgiveness. I easily gained 10 to 15 yards from my Tour Exotics and the forgiveness is what really made the difference. Thank you technology and most importantly Callaway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baby Driver I don't really use a 3 wood off the deck, i use it when fairways get tight and i just need something down the middle. This does exactly that. I feel comfortable pulling this club when the driver isn't there and still having a great chance at par for the hole. Very long and straight club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After the Rogue Tour, I see THE Shaft Combo for me!!! The Go Rogue Tour rolled into the shop for US Open weekend and I had the chance to try EVERYTHING. I went into the whole thing as a huge fan of the SZ series with the 63g HZRDUS Yellow for the Driver and the 78g version for the Fairway woods. Once I was able to hit them, I was VERY Happy, to be sure..... Then, as an afterthought, I tried the Evenflow Black 65g. - and it took only 3 swings to say WOW!!! The Black has the flight and precision of the HZRDUS, and the terrific feel of the Evenflow Blue in a single package. I get feel AND precision - without an upcharge!!! Going Evenflow Black for ALL of the SZ clubs in the new bag (10.5, 13.5, 18). I AM TOTALLY PUMPED for the rest of 2018 and Beyond!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Rocket Launcher I hit the ball pretty well off the tee and I dont find myself 250+ from the green very often....but I do need something to hit on tighter/shorter par fours or when the driver is a little "loose". This club is so versatile and has a lovely feel, as well. Long and straight are great attributes...and the Rogue is that and more...as long as you get the right shaft to ensure maximum fit to your game. I got the Evenflow blue and it is like butter....on top of a filet mignon. Nicely done, fellas....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue fairway woods Good, solid club. When you strike it, it sounds and feels like a rocket launching pad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sub Zero is not for everyone First of all $299 is extremely pricy for a fairyway wood. It's kind of a bummer tbh. Aside from the price the club is good. The issue I have with the Sub Zero is that out of sketchy lies you often get poor shots. What I mean by this is that the head is low spinning so if you are hitting out of the rough you are much more likely to hit the ball out of the center which results in a poor ball flight and result. I love this club off the fairyway and tee, but it is difficult to hit out of the rough. I would recommend most people play the regular non sub zero version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Fairway wood Callaway has done it again by incorporating its driver technology into its fairway woods. The Rogue Sub Zero is very long off the tee and more forgiving than I anticipated. To my surprise and delight, it was very easy to hit off the fairway as well and provided plenty of height despite it being the low spinning model. The look is very traditional (as close to traditional as one gets these days) and sets up nicely at address. The "even flow" shaft that I purchased it with is a nice compliment and provides a nice feel through impact. All in all, a great club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3W is hot like my old X2. I was reluctant to change from my X2 Hot 3w I've had for several years. Most of my golfing buddies comment on how I hit it as far as their drivers. So I was not sure if I should replace it. I'm happy that it's just as hot as the X2 and looks great. I have the ProjectX evenflow stiff shaft in the club.
