Splits Open When Zipped

My new jacket zipper splits open. I have an old one...exact same style...which doesn't. I haven't gained weight. So annoying!!!

Jacket Is Not The Same From The Previous Years

I wish I would have returned. I was hoping if I washed it would shrink a little. It didn't. I went with the XXL bc that's what I bought a couple of years ago and it was longer than the 1X. This year the fabric has changed (too bulky), sleeves are way too long.
