I think it’s just missing a larger front zipped pocket, aside from the two water bottle pockets, there are no other pockets for quick easy access…for travelling!

Retreat Backpack
Stylish and good size. Like the drawstring on the inside. Shoulder straps are comfortable. Just used it for long weekend travel. Needs more pockets with zippers to keep stuff from falling out. Also adding a strap that secures to the rollaway would be ideal.

Buckle Is Pretty Useless
Bought this bag to wear in the Seattle rain. Looks good and is lightweight. However the buckle on the bag gets undone with a laptop and water bottle in it. The bag isn’t even full.

Professional Meets Practical
My wife surprised me with this bag for my new job and it has been fantastic! The construction on the bag is the highest quality, but I appreciate that it's ample space with style that is appropriate even for a professional setting. I love the color and the flexibility of its utility (the side pockets can easily hold a Nalgene bottle and the side zipper makes laptop access super convenient. 10/10 backpack!!

Sturdy, Elegant, Roomy
I bought this backpack for day trips. There's room enough for everything I need for a day trip or overnight. The deep purple color I chose is exactly how it appeared online. I plan to buy another (maybe different style/color) in future, and maybe a sternum strap, too. I prefer carrying it by the short handle on top or over one shoulder. I'm a senior on the move.

Retreat Backpack - Not Worth The Struggle
The Retreat backpack was not a good choice. The closing mechanism is not practical, the "Easy U-pull drawcord closure" is anything but easy to deal with. The drawstring clasp is hard cumbersome to deal with, you would need three hands to unlock it to have the string running into it. The metal eyelet fell with last then two months of backpack usage. The internal space is amazing, but the lack of compartments makes it impossible to find something small, like a key or wallet, when you are in a rush. Overall, I wouldn't tell my friends to buy it. Not worth.

It’s a large book bag which I like and was going for but there are no inside compartments for pens and the extra side storage space is not its own space. If anything goes into that side pocket it falls into the laptop space.
