Rated 5 out of 5 by from CG is the Real Deal I was a little skeptical about the CG placement that Maxfli was talking up. Figured why not give it a try and see if it made a difference. Glad I did. This ball not only flies straighter but even in to wind it didn’t balloon. It naturally flies higher to begin with, but it held a very piercing flight in to a 20 mph head wind. Down wind, there’s virtually no spin which adds to roll out. Compression on the X model is 100, but you can’t really tell. Ball checks and releases when you need it to. If you’re swing speed isn’t fast enough to compress this ball, give the Tour a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maxfli Tour X I’m about a 10 handicap, and I’ve been hitting Maxfli for years now, since the U/4, U/6, U/Fli Speed, and now this one. In my opinion, they are all great, near-tour caliber balls, for half the money or less. The Tour X seems to be slightly more durable, but still has good control around the greens, and approach shots hold. the only odd part is Maxfli keeps discontinuing these, and renaming them something else. It may be beneficial for them to maintain the name year after year, but make the improvements to them as desired. Nonetheless, these are a fantastic value. Get ‘em.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a pleasant surprise! I play to a +1 index and bought these balls to use as a practice ball or a ball to use on desert courses in Phoenix, where rocks can chew up balls that barely miss the fairway. I was expecting a good ball, not a great ball. Turns out this ball is my second favorite behind the TP5x and performance is surprisingly similar. Long off the tee, in fact a little longer than most other urethane balls I have played, nice high trajectory that does not balloon and excellent control around the greens. What's not to love at 2 for $50?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Ball Ever I am a certified Golf Master Teaching Professional. With my students cost can hold them back from advancing the game and its enjoyment. Because of this I try to find lower cost alternatives. It was my hope that these balls would be a way for my students to have tour performance at a cost savings. It is not. The ball is extremely hard and I lost 15 yards of distance from my iron shots. The ball does not spin on the greens. The ball is not durable as I had numerous pieces that broke away from the cover. There was one plus; the ball is very straight and rolls online. The CG may just be a great new science for accuracy and putting performance. They just need to use it in a better ball design for distance and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bryson Effect! I got to hit this golf ball in the past month, and I must say, the technology behind it makes complete sense to me. The technology behind the ball (having the center of gravity of the ball lined up directly with the side stamp), allows me to have confidence that whenever I line up to a putt, or set my ball on the tee for a drive, I am going to get my best possible performance out of the golf ball. The feel of the ball was great. I was able to hit shots around the green that would still check up, and the ball performed as well as I could ask it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maxfli Tour X outperforms Found a fairly new looking Maxfli Tour x on the course and tried it on the next hole. After a long straight drive, a high approach shot that held the green and par on the number 1 stroke hole, I bought 2 boxes @ DSG. Surprised to find a 2 for $50 limited time promotion that apparently is the second one of the season. Played 2 well-groomed private courses with tough greens and the Maxflis performed well, in windy as well as extremely hot conditions. Contrary to other reviews, these balls spin well on the greens allowing aggressive approach shots. I’ve played Pro V1x for years but $54 is a bit rich for a box of balls. Only downside to the Maxfli is the matte covers which do not repel grass stains and mud as well as glossy golf balls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't think they are close to Titlist and you will like them? Bought a dozen of Tour and Tour X. Many people are comparing them to Pro Vs. They lack the feel/softness of a Pro V and much less spin/control. That said, I think they are good balls and they actually go farther than ProVs. I had to modify my game a bit and club down realizing the ball wasn't going to stop or would roll out more. Not bad deal for the price, just don't expect the spin/control to match a ProV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maxfli tour x Wow,,, Play 18 holes yesterday (with the same ball) lol .Not a mark on the ball not one. Showed it to my playing partner and he said it that a new ball .. This ball is as long and straight as anything out there. If you have a slower swing speed like I do don't worry it will go.
