Not A Top Water Frog!
Bought this a week or so ago and thought i found a new favorite but man, i'm disappointed. This is NOT A TOP WATER FROG! It DOES NOT FLOAT! When i first saw it i thought "Wow! They fixes the problem of getting holes in the frog baits. The cutouts in the bottom look interesting" But it does not float, this is a creature bait, a sinking lure. You need to retrieve it at speed to get it to the surface. So if your frog tactics rely on pausing on the surface this will not work for you. Maybe using it like a craw or creature bait will work out but i have other confidence baits for that so i dont think this will get a lot of action unfortunately. On top of that the packaging looked sleek on the shelf but was a nightmare to open up. I'm a sucker for well thought out, condensed packaging that either lets you keep a piece as a label or to help keep your gear organized and this was neither
